On the evening of January 26, following the Eagles' win, Tyler joined fellow fans in Center City Philadelphia to celebrate. In the midst of the festivities, he climbed a light pole at the intersection of 15th and Market streets. Tragically, he lost his balance and fell, suffering severe head injuries upon impact. He was immediately transported to Jefferson Hospital, where, despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries two days later.
